So I learned a lot from making this.
You need plenty of time to whip up the coffee, the only thickener is the sugar so make sure it is well dissolved.
Taste wise, adding more sugar will make the coffee super sweet, so if you're use to a little sweeter in lattes, this will feel a wall of sugar, you could counter it with espresso powder instead, but it may turn it bitter.
Also the cup of milk is helpful at the bottom.
Edit: Whipping it with a french press saves a lot of time, turns out better, and easier to see if everything is dissolved. I used 5 oz of espresso, and ~3tbs sugar, to have it froth properly in the french press and made enough for 3 people. Use that or a high-powered blender.
