Made no waste chicken broth and used the fried chicken in the gumbo. Fried so good. Dont be shy with the seasoning.
It's a lot of work so this is a dish you make in large quantities so you make leftovers or have people over for dinner. I used crayfish instead of shrimp. But remember that shrinks a lot more so add in final step. Also added okra that was briefly soaked in lemonjuice to stop sliming too much.
