← Replies in Creamy Vegan Lemon Bars Recipe

This is the first recipe I’ve used from minimalist baker that I didn’t absolutely love. My heart hurts for these wasted ingredients. Coconut cream, many lemons, almonds, oats etc. I wish I could salvage the ingredients to be used as ingredients in something else, but the taste is too funky to salvage I think. 😅😭 They came out beautifully for our event, but something told me to taste them before we left. Ended up making an apple crisp instead.

That's so weird! I've no idea what happened. I made these, truthfully alerted the recipe a bit as I usually do, and they were delicious every time. Kids don't always like them as they're a bit sour as well... But mine likes it and all adults that tried it too. No idea what happened in your case but it's indeed sad about the ingredients.

That’s so wild!! I’m glad to know it turned out well for someone. I may try again, sometime. It’s the standout disaster dish in our kitchen, as I’ve never struggled to execute what I’m setting out to do. 🤣 I’m so happy your kiddos and other adults alike are big fans. You’ve given me hope! 😍
