We did like the flavor.
Had to cut slices by hand as I did not have any slicer on hand. Getting very thin slices is a must.
Make sure to have the ingredients in equal parts (I ran out of potatoes at 3/4 ๐).
I found the bell pepper something of a mis-match shape wise - one would think you want everything evenly shaped. Not sure how a round slice would come off a bell pepper as it will have no middle. I would suggest to add another one or possibly two and fill up the space somehow.
For the red sauce I used a can of diced tomatoes and added the listed ingredients plus some garlic powder and onion powder.
For the white sauce I did not preheat the milk but simply stirred it in after the flower had been mixed into the melted butter.
