Like everyone else, I felt I was doing something wrong at first. I promise, no matter how hopeless your result looks, just keep blending-- the blender will eventually stop crying and the almonds will give up and turn creamy. Also, don't expect it to look like this picture. It's a very good picture, and likely not reflective of the lighting in your house. Mine looked more like the color of peanut butter, and it's just fine.
