My family made this a few days ago. It was pretty decent but the pork chops dried out a bit more than we would’ve liked and so to help compensate for that we ended up making a sort of sauce/gravy with the onions and a few other things. It sort of ended up similar to smothered pork chops but with the Filipino flavor. The how did it taste question doesn’t allow me to put tangy and tasty are the words I’d use.
