I am soy and dairy free so I used homemade nut milk (almond/cashew mix) and I used coconut oil instead of vegan butter. Coconut oil didn't disburse as well as butter would have but my family still gobbled the biscuits up. Warm, fluffy, slightly chewy and crispy on the edges. My 3 year old helped make it.
