This is more of a blueprint than a recipe. For vegetables you can use any leafy cookable green, broccoli, tomato, roasted or fresh peppers, or use any of the above combined with 1/2 cup olives (black or green), 1 cup of mushrooms, 1/2 an onion, a tablespoon or two capers. Toss in a cooked protein like chicken, sausage or shrimp. It doesn't really need it though. Acceptable cheeses are burrata, mozzarella, ricotta or mascarpone, even feta. However if you use feta, do not add the hard cheese. The variations are limitless. Edit: The included photos are Rapini, Black Olives, Garlic, Chili Pepper, and Italian Sausage. Added to that at the end is Heavy Cream and Pecorino.
