Beautiful sauce, I think I will try tomato paste instead of ketchup next time I make this (healthier). I didn't add a cup of water to deglaze. I had to drain the fat before I added the sauce.
Update: i made a low sodium version of this by using a no salt added tomato paste with vinigar added extra garlic. I also subbed monkfruit sweetener for the brown sugar. I thibk the ratios instead this sauce recipe are perfect for a small family so I reference this recipe all the time.
