Second time making it... first time I made it, I used used curry powder not the called for masala spice... and a little can of 156ml/5.5 fl oz tomato paste. Used oat milk both times instead of whole milk, as husband is dairy free. Also added a teaspoon of curry powder to the rice. Also added zucchini and mushrooms and celery to the chicken pan. Meal was excellent. Became my husband's favorite meal of all time. I really liked it too, but thought that a whole can of tomato paste was too much.... so tried only half of the can this time. Also, didn't think it had enough curry flavor, so doubled the curry powder. For a taste test so far, husband says it tastes great but packs a bit of a punch this time... lol for the record, the most spice we use is pepper and garlic powder and onion powder... so any spice will pack a punch for us... lol
