I felt like this was flavorless, except for the fish tasting like egg. I did mix some broccoli in with the rice, and that was the only thing that seemed to have any taste! I ended up adding a lot more tamari.
Also, use a really big pot for the rice! It doesn't sound like a lot of rice, but once all the vegetables are in there it's hard to stir.
These are pretty big servings.
If I were to make this again:
- use more tamari and spices (like, double)
- mix water in with the egg so it doesn't have such an eggy flavor
- start cooking the fish earlier - it took longer than I expected!
