Hi Mariela, were they green lentils? And how long did you leave them with pressure? Happy to troubleshoot, I always make them in the instant pot.

Hello. 10mins and the natural release. Could it be I added too much water maybe?

I usually add enough water to cover the lentils, but I didn't think more water would make a difference in the texture. Is the water where you live very hard (with lots of salts)? I know it can accelerate cooking. Also, did you soak them? Because I don't.

Nope I didn’t soak them. Maybe it’s the water.
