I really liked this dish, but did make some changes to adjust it to my taste. It was quite sweet to me, so I added some extra lime juice, but would put less sugar next time. Also, I served it with quite a bit of soy sauce. Also, I seasoned the chicken with salt and white pepper before adding sauce. Extra veggies are never bad either! edamame beans work great in this. Overall I found the directions to be appropriate and workable. As a personal preference, and to help with time as I used brown rice, I cooked the rice in my instant pot, using the saute function for the garlic, then pressure cooking it to save time. Easy, yummy recipe, but does take a bit to prep the veggies!
