It's a good recipe. It tasted great after it was all done and was a fun way to eat French toast. However, I didn't find it worth my time to make these. Making regular French toast and slapping the cream cheese and toppings in the middle is just as effective and less time-consuming. You also need to make sure your bread doesn't dry out so have a dry towel or cloth to cover it as you work.
A few things I changed: I added a 1/8 tsp of cinnamon, a dash of vanilla, and 1 tsp of sour cream to the cream cheese. I also melted it for 15 seconds in the microwave to help it spread better. I had no fresh strawberries so I put Nutella in half of them.
This is great for a kid to make, with supervision. I would make it again if my daughter requests it.
