I ordered the hominy corn online. The recipe was a little vague and I added the green beans towards the end of the cooking time. I had purple sweet potatoes to hand rather than the traditional orange variety which explains the colour of the dish. The leftovers thickened up and were quite stodgy. Overall I found the dish a bit bland.
