Okay, your definitely need to put a baking pan under the muffin pan to catch the dripping butter or you'll end up smoking out your house. Take it from me. I learned the hard way so you don't have to. Also, use about 1/4 cup batter per muffin cup and then add more if you have it bc 1/3 will fill the muffin cups to the brim.
Edited to add: they are delicious. My son said they taste like something you'd find at a fancy hotel ... That was on fire..
