Absolutely delicious and worth the effort. I make it every year for Christmas and my family is always asking to make sure I'm bringing it. :)

This recipe is huge, and its very rich. I divide it in 3 for smaller gatherings.
You're going to need a very large bowl to fold all the ingredients together (think extra large salad bowl) in addition to two mixer bowls.
I've never used the ground almonds and it comes out fine.
I've divided the batter into Bundt pan with smaller individual ramekins and paper baking cups but you'll have to adjust the baking time accordingly.
Tastes great straight out of the oven! It's like a souffle when warm, and condenses to a thicker fudgy consistency when it cools.
