This was way better than I was expecting it to be. Instead of milk (because we was out and I didn't know it) I used 1 cup heavy whipping cream and 1 cup water and it was absolutely perfect. I added a bit of minced garlic also to the white sauce because I just felt like it needed it.
I do think to improve this next time I'm going to be adding some broccoli in with it. Also, the directions on here make zero sense.
1. Set oven to 350
2. Peel, cut and boil potatoes, strain
3. Cut sausage into bite size pieces and fry until browned (or however you want them)
4. Make white sauce (milk, flour, seasonings)
5. Once sauce starts to thicken a bit I added my shredded cheese until melted.
6. Pour all three of those into a baking dish.
7. Cube Velveeta cheese and add to baking dish.
8. Mix.
9. I covered mine with foil and put into the oven for about 30-40 minutes.
10. Take out, final mix and serve.
That's just how I did it, hope it helps.
