Fun switch up from the regular lemon cake. I didn’t have orange extract though, so just used a bit more zest and juice. Maybe because of this, the flavours from the orange oil from the zest did come through a lot. Some suggested using a bit more sugar, but I liked the level of sweetness. The fluffiness and moistness of the cake was great!
I’ll probably try this again with the extract as I did like it, but probably won’t be my go-to as I did notice from others that it does have an acquired taste.
