Made this for my vegan brother, he absolutely loved it. My mom, who hates anything that’s not food for 6 year old, loved it too!!! Made some lovely vegan gravy with the Better than Bouillon garlic base and vegetable stock and the entire thing was gone. It’s an amazing main entrée meat alternative with none of the processed bs. It takes time, but if you put the whole thing together a day or two before your dinner all you have to do on the day of is put it in the oven and make some potatoes and gravy! I will say, be cautious if you don’t have a full size food processor. It can be done, as all things were before food processors lol, but it will up your prep time significantly. Next time I make it, since puff pastry comes in a two pack, I’m going to make two and try to freeze one and see how it does.
