Using tahini in an Asian dish should be your first red flag lol. I made a huge mistake and substituted hummus for tahini when I couldn't find it at the grocery store. Using peanut butter instead would have made this dish 10000x more edible. Live and learn!

2 years on but tahini and hummus are not the same thing. Sesame paste is also an Asian ingredient. You can find it at asian markets.
