Used ground beef and added some sage, rosemary, and oregano. Also added red bell pepper. Would cut down the amount of oil used. Maybe not all of the oil from the tomato jar.

Yes, I would also not recommend the extra oil when using beef. With chicken, it often needs a little more fat to make this work. Glad you tried and I love the addition of the spices!
