I used a full bag of pasta, I did not calculate the additional liquid needed. I used a full 4 cup broth pack. I used dash of salt initially, but added 1 tsp of better than bullion at the end to give it more flavor. Ended up a little thin, but I was starving and wasn't going to wait. Yummy
