If your veggie sausages are frozen, be sure to add some extra cooking time before adding the batter.
The trick to this recipe is making sure the oil is VERY hot before pouring the batter over the sausages. Get it back into the oven as fast as you can and DO NOT be tempted to open the door until the cooking time is done. Be brave!
