I followed the recipe exactly. Visually these looked nice (especially when cut), but the taste & texture just wasn’t there for us.
There is no mention of anything inside the rolled up chicken, but I added some salt & pepper. I think this could be improved with something simple like spinach or a slice of deli ham. The bacon wrap was easy and held the wraps together , but it was just boiled bacon texture afterwards which we didn’t care for.
As it’s written, I don’t think this one is a keeper for me but I do think this recipe would make a great backbone for experimentation with extra ingredients.
