Flour & coconut milk are unnecessary (and the flour remains uncooked in this method). Use the pasta water! It is already starchy, salty, and delicious.
- use less water initially, set aside 1 C, and simmer/reduce 1/3C of it in the sauce. Add more if it looks dry. Undercook your pasta in the first step & finish it in the sauce.
- Use more garlic and omit the garlic powder. Just...why.
- the nutritional yeast is ok, but takes away from the existing flavors of the garlic & oil. Simplicity can taste better.
- lots of pepper.
