Delicious! Contrast of tartness from guava with sweetness of the pastry and the cream cheese is not just interesting but tasty. I use 1.5-1.75x guava mixture. Also I end up using 0.5-0.75x of the cream cheese mixture. Make sure to chill cheese mixture before assembling for less mess and spreading. We also use choc chips instead of guava (8-9 per pastry) for half of the recipe for kids who prefer chocolate. And we use turbinado sugar for the coating instead of regular. Bakes in 13 min for me.
