On a budget, I subbed the fontina for mozzarella that I finely shredded. This meal cost $16.85 for 10 servings or $1.69/serving. I made my own passata (tomato puree) so this could be even a 1.00 or so less. This was a great recipe to add extra basil or seasonings to, or keep exactly as is. It was very tasty & I'll definitely make it again.
