I do not understand how people find this recipe bland, I thought it was incredibly flavourful and super creamy. I simply added less than double the salt and added turmeric at the end to change the color so it’s more orange than grey. I love the creaminess with the kidney beans and mushrooms. Fresh onions, ginger, garlic and especially lime is essential! I added some more for serving and added a dollop of coconut yogurt — perfect.
