Tres Leches Cake

Very good! Not too sweet. It takes some time but is easy. We topped it with strawberries and kiwi.

1/4 cup cream instead of whole milk in the milk mixture, make less whipped cream frosting

Lots of dishes but well worth it! I made 3 for an event and was easier to do 3 at a time. Definitely good to make a day ahead. Everyone at the event loved it.

I like to add cinnamon in the batter & the liquid mixture, then add less on top of the whipped cream. Everyone asked which bakery this came from

Came out pretty good, the cake doesn’t hold up well on a plate so I may lessen the amount of milk just a tad next time, but it tastes amazing. I added sliced strawberries and skipped the cinnamon, no complaints at all!

This cake is so easy and it always impresses... definitely one of my personal faves. I love made this cake several times and like to do variations of the fruit topping.

I made eggnog and used some for the milk mixture as well

Very good recipe, use this recipe as your base and modify however you'd like. I like to add various sliced fruits on top. Give it enough time to rest and soak up the liquids, preferably overnight. Sometimes there is extra liquid in the bottom, you can always dial back the amount of liquid you pour over if you'd like.

This was so delicious and fun to make! I loved how fluffy the cake is, I'll definitely make it again.

Really good. Our cake puffed in the center a little much so the middle wasn't as moist as the outside. More holes might help.

It had an amazing texture and flavor… all along incredible. I only changed the merengue on top, I used the Italian recipe of egg whites, and homemade syrup (sugar and water) 🤌🏻

Followed the recipe but didn’t have strawberries for a garnish so I made a blueberry sauce which paired very well.

I made this for Christmas dinner, and it was a hit! Everyone went back for seconds. I think this may be our new holiday tradition. :)

Delicious, not too sweet but only use half the can of sweetened condensed milk

Swap the order of the eggs. Whip whites first into stiff peaks, then do the yolks.

It was delicious. I added vico powder on top, it became addictive. I couldn't stop eating.

The sponge cake itself is delicious and the whole combination is amazing
