Instructions
Step 1
In a large bowl , crack the eggs and add sugar . Beat those together until become creamy and fluffy it will take around 4/5 minutes.
Step 2
Once that's completed, add vanilla extract, sift together plain flour, baking powder, and salt. With whisk or spatula fold with egg mixture lightly.
Step 3
Pour milk and combine gently .
Step 4
Grease the 12 by 9 inches pan with butter or non grease spray. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread to even out the surface and bake at 185 c for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Step 5
In a large measuring cup , combine double cream, or whole milk, evaporated milk and condensed milk. Stir and set aside.
Step 6
Pour cold double cream and sugar into a large mixing bowl and beat on high speed until stiff peaks.
Step 7
Take the cake out of the oven and cool down completely. Once the cake is cool down, poke the surface of cake all over with a fork. Slowly drizzle the milk mixture over the cake. And leave in refrigerator for few hours.
Step 8
Spread the whipped cream over the cake and smooth the top with spatula.
Step 9
Decorate with fresh berries and edible flowers. Enjoy!
