Award Winning Lemon Crinkle Cookies

I used this recipe to enter a Christmas cookie contest between friends and won the top prize. So good.

These cookies were really easy to make and they taste and look amazing! I’d recommend chilling the dough for at least a few hours before forming the cookies, it makes a massive difference. Also be really generous with the icing sugar! Next time I’d put more lemon zest and juice and hold back a little on the sugar in the dough - I’d probably put just over half a cup there.
