Instructions
Step 1
Combine the ingredients for the topping in a small bowl. Once combined, place in the fridge while preparing the muffin batter.
Step 2
Cream together the sugar and butter in a large bowl. Then add egg and vanilla sugar.
Step 3
In a separate large bowl combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
Step 4
Add 1/3 of the flour mixture to the wet ingredients. Once combined, add half of the milk. Then another 1/3 of the flour, the other half of the milk, and finally the last of the flour mixture, combining completely after adding ingredients.
Step 5
Place batter into muffin tins, and top generously with the topping, pressing it into the batter gently. Bake at 190 C (375 F) for 15-19 minutes, until you can insert a knife in the center and remove it clean.
