The BEST Vanilla Cake Recipe

Looks great but was not at all sweet or vanilla-y. Felt like I was just eating bread at times. It is a denser cake, not one of the fluffy ones. But the most egregious thing was that the buttercream tasted like butter and not sweet at all. I'm not sure how this ended up being so unsweet when it contains that much sugar! Definitely one of the least popular cakes I've ever made

It was good the only problem I faced was making the buttercream it ended up being too runny but I still use it on the cake and it was still good

it was awesome, made it for my bfs bday and luckily had all the ingredients at home by some miracle because the grocery stores are closed on sunday. we used food coloring so thats why it looks funny lol. we also messed up at basically every step but it tasted AMAZING

This cake and icing is amazing. I don't bake much, but people who tried it agreed this is probably one of the best white cakes they've ever had. Keeping this in my recipe stash!
