I made these for a friend's birthday and they were gone before I could get a second one. Instead of using spears, I used baby kosher dills that I sliced in half lengthwise so the crescent rolls didn't get soggy and it worked well. I forgot the egg wash but followed the rest of the recipe and it was a hit.
