Strawberry Shortcake Cake

The cake stuck to the pan and broke so i made these cake cups

Tried baking it in a loaf pan. It had an odd layer on the bottom and tasted a bit too much like baking powder.

Added a little bit of milk on a piece of cake, popped it in the microwave for 30 seconds, added strawberries and whipped cream. Yum!

Definitely recommend. Very simple to make, tastes lovely too. Though, I would say to serve this with tea as it definitely does taste biscuit-y.

Great recipe! This shortcake was a combination of a cake/biscuit texture and taste. Definitely make sure to add the sugar on top of the cake while it’s baking. Will add a side of strawberries to add on after cutting because they were lacking with them just on top of the cake.
