Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter (softened); 1 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar; 1/3 cup molasses; 1 large egg; 1 tbsp vanilla extract; 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour; 1 tbsp ground ginger; 1 tsp ground cinnamon; 1/2 tsp ground cloves; 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg; 1/2 tsp baking powder; 1/2 tsp baking soda; 1/2 tsp fine sea salt; 1/4 cup heavy cream; Gingerbread Man Cookie Cutter (you will flip it upside down to make reindeer); Sanding sugar in gold and red; Icing of choice (see sugar cookie glaze below); 2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar (sifted); 2 tbsp milk or water; 2 tbsp light corn syrup; 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (or almond extract, depending on your preference); food coloring (black,brown, pink, red, and green.)
