It was delicious, but even baking the biscuits beforehand didn’t prevent them from being soggy and off-putting. I’ll definitely put them on top or just leave them as a side next time.

Bake the biscuits until browned before adding the sauce and meatballs. Came out great.

I cooked the biscuits for 10 minutes beforehand. Then pulled them in half and lined the bottom of my pie dish. Then cover with sauce, impossible balls, mozzarella, chopped garlic and red pepper flakes. Cooked with the foil for 30 minutes, then uncovered, added fresh chopped basil and grated Parmesan, and cooked for another 10 minutes uncovered. It was delicious!

I cooked the biscuits first by themselves as others have commented and it turned out good.

Taste was great! But even pre baking the biscuit dough didn't completely ensure it was all done. There were still some doughy places which was a pretty big turn off.

I think browned hamburger instead of meatballs, and season it more would improve it

This was a hit with me and my husband! I went ahead and followed the comments and cooked my biscuits for 10 minutes ahead of time turned out perfect.

I used Pillsbury dough but the next time I think I will use rotini noodles as my base.

It taste great but like others my biscuits are very underdone. I like the idea of cooking them alone for about 10 minutes first.

Biscuit was NOT cooked through after 40 minutes. My husband like it but I did not like the semi-raw dough.

Made my own meatballs, with 1.5 lbs of ground Turkey. I also used 2 cans of crescent rolls instead.

I wasn’t a fan. The biscuits really threw me off. I wish I had read the comments before making. I would 100% suggest cooking the biscuits by themselves first and combine after. It came out mushy and was hard to get the biscuits fully cooked.

I didn't have any aluminum foil on hand so I put in on the lowest rack and cooked at 375 for 15 minutes *my oven is very old so it varies GREATLY from others I've used in the past. The tops are a little crispier than I'd like, but after I read some of the reviews about it being too soggy I decided to roll my meatballs in the sauce first and place 4 biscuits on bottom and 4 on top. Luckily because of this, my biscuits werent gummy or soggy! They were out of my regular beef meatballs so I decided to use turkey. (It would've been better with beef)

This came out tasting excellent. I cut up the biscuits and cooked them for about 7 minutes in the oven before topping with meatballs, sauce, and cheese and baking as recommended. The biscuits came out almost perfect -- I would probably bump it to 10 minutes with just the biscuits. It was absolutely delicious, and we had leftovers for days.

I need to try making this a different way. I burnt the bottom of the biscuits and everything was very gummy. Not bad though, I just kind of pieced the best parts together.

Followed the suggestions and cooked longer. I also added salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and sprinkled Italian seasoning on top.

Needed to cook a little bit longer since the biscuits were not cooked in the middle of the pan added some Italian seasoning and some butter turned out great

I regret using turkey meatballs....I think it would have been sooo good with regular beef meatballs. It was SOOOOOO easy to make tho...under 5 minutes to prep

This one was a major hit with the husband and teenagers. Super easy but I did cook about 10 extra minutes. If you like quick one dish meals then this recipe is for you.

We left out the canned biscuits so it was essentially just a meatball Marinara dish but everyone liked that much better. My kids with sensory aversion love it.

I read a few comments that the biscuits turned soggy (which sounds very unappetizing) so I chopped them and lightly covered them in olive oil and baked them for 5-10 min on their own while I was mixing the tomato sauce with spices. After that I spread the sauce on top of the biscuits with a rubber spatula, without mixing. They turned out just perfect and flakey.

The kids really liked this one.

Upgrade temp, in oven, to 400...i use gas stove. I cooked for 45 minutes..covered. Then, uncovered for 20 minutes. .. Not gummy and if you make biscuits in 1/6 cuts...bulky enough...not to be so gummy. And...just visualize...you know when its done.

Need to cook biscuits til they’re almost cooked

It was OK. Definitely cook the Doe beforehand. I cooked the dough in my air fryer and it was still a tad doughy, So cooking all the way would probably be best. If I make it again I will probably just it's the doe all the way and and put the meatballs and sauce on top of it 🙃

The biscuits come out gummy.

I should have cooked the biscuits before mixing them in the sauce...it seemed a bit soggy but overall pretty good.

We used an entire jar of marinara in it and it was great! Lots of left overs - my picky husband actually didn’t even ask what was in it because it was eaten too fast ❤️ lots of leftovers

I add more sauce but that's just my family. They love sauce. It's really good.

Cook for a little longer on gas oven

Everyone loved it. Super easy to make. Great weeknight meal. Served it will a salad for veggies.

Made my own meatballs. Will definitely be making again. Husband loved it.
