Halve the recipe and bake in an 8 inch cake pan for 32 minutes (single layer round cake); or double the recipe and bake in two 9x13 pans for 35 minutes, double the buttercream with 25% less powdered sugar, put the ganache and some strawberry jam between cake layers, coat entire cake with buttercream (two layer rectangular cake)
