Best ever chocolate brownies recipe

Very tasty brownies! So delicious. I used 180g sugar instead of 275g and they were still very delicious. Also had to cook for 10 minutes extra than the recipe describes and turned oven up slightly for the last 10 mins. Made for friends - everyone enjoyed these!

My biggest problem is the tin size. I can't get hold of a 20cm square tin. so I got a rectangular tin (called a brownie tin which is approx 30cm x 19cm. (The conversion charts say the equivalent rect for 20cm square should be 18x23cm but I couldn't get that either). So I dd the maths and worked out that I needed to multiply the ingredients by roughly 1.4. There was too much mixture. Next time I will do it as given and hope it doesn't come out too thin and then adjust again if it does. MY husband is looking forward to the experimentation.

Make this all the time but found the middle never cooked I’ve put them into cupcake cases and cooked them for 15mins instead and they come out perfect every time (also hazelnuts make it amazing)

Definitely cut the sugar down, I have used half the stated amount and it's been lovely.

delicious! gave it an extra 5 minutes in the oven and it was perfect. crispy top layer, and a moist and gooey but not undercooked centre. would definitely recommend.

I’d suggest baking for 35 minutes you’re using a deeper tin otherwise the middle might be too under cooked

2/3 of the recipe fit in the smaller tin.

So how many teaspoons and/or tablespoons are those measurements? I'm having such a hard time with thus recipe.

Fun to make for the kids. We used maltesers, white chocolate buttons and marshmallows, instead of the chocolate chunks.

Swap the 50g white and 50g milk chocolate for chopped fudge oieces

Best brownie recipe ever! I veganised mine by using 9tbsp aquafaba instead of the eggs and using Vegan chocolate 😃 I also made a separate batch with candied pecans and walnuts - delicious!
