pepper
to taste

¼ cupparmesan
freshly grated

0.5 lbGround Beef
can use all ground beef

0.5 lbGround Pork
can use all ground beef or use Italian Sausage instead

1egg
beaten

⅛ cupHeavy Cream
or whole milk
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, all seasonings, and parmesan cheese.
Step 3
In a large bowl, add the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumb mixture, beaten egg, and cream. Use your hands until everything is well combined.
Step 4
Divide and shape into meatballs. I made 16 meatballs that were about 2 tbsp of mixture each. Place the meatballs onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Cook for about 20 minutes until browned.
Step 5
If you are finishing in red sauce, place the meatballs in the sauce and simmer for another 5-10 minutes. If not, bake for an additional 5 minutes until fully cooked through.
