Taco Seasoning

Our go to. We make this in large batches. Found it too salty so have reduced it.

I doubled the recipe, minus the red flakes and added a tablespoon of arrowroot starch for thickening when I use it for tacos. (Great for people with corn/gluten/wheat allergies)

Just like buying prepackaged taco seasoning.

So good! Very robust flavors

Mixed a bunch up to keep on hand. It's very yummy but a bit on the spicy side. If I was cooking for littles I'd back off the red pepper or maybe leave it out altogether. I used it on chicken tonight. I cooked up some diced chicken, added 3/4 cup water along with the spice mix. I let it cook down until almost all the liquid was gone.

Much better than store bought. I add entire recipe to 1 1/2-2 lbs of cooked ground beef and 1/4 c water. Cook until water dissolves. Delicious! Next time I’ll leave out the salt.

Add 3/4 cup of water and let simmer.
