Taco Seasoning

This mix was very easy to make. It has a kick which I like. I would add some Bouillon cubes forma more rounded flavor

This is my go to taco seasoning recipe. I use half tsp of salt, smoked paprika, and chipotle chili powder instead of red pepper flakes.

I've been using this recipe for almost a decade. I don't like heat, so I omit pepper flakes and pepper. I use to make a healthy taco salad and use plain Greek Yogurt as sour cream

You can adjust the heat with the pepper flakes

Quick and easy recipe. I used 1 tsp each of regular chili powder, ancho chili powder, chipotle chili powder, so I could get a smoky flavour. I accidentally added a little extra paprika, but nothing to worry about. Will update later as to taste.

This was tasty in ground beef taco meat.

This is the only taco seasoning we use. We make a pound of ground chicken seasoned with this recipe for the week, to be used in tacos, burritos, lettuce wraps, etc.

I left out the cumin because I don't like it.

I use this every time I make ground beef tacos.

Add 1 tbsp. cornstarch. Cook 1 lb. ground meat, then add 1 cup water and seasoning mix.

Made this when I ran out of pre-made taco seasoning. I didn't have Chili powder, so instead I used 1/4tsp of cyanne pepper. Had a bit of a kick to it, but it was so good. Definitely reccomend.

Package taco seasoning is way too salty for us, making my own I can control the salt, if I use any @ all.

I usually use store bought. I forgot to pick any up. Used this recipe in a taco crescent ring. Turned out great!

Really good taco seasoning. I don't much care for my taco seasoning spicy because I am a wimp but you can easily do less of it no red pepper flakes, I just cut the amount down. I did do a little less cumin, maybe 1/2 - 3/4 the amount since it is strong. Turned out great.

McCormick Seasoning Mix 1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey 3/4 cup water 12 taco shells or flour tortillas (6-inch) Assorted Toppings: shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese, salsa or sour cream. Directions: 1. Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat. 2. Stir in Seasoning Mix and water. 3. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Spoon into warm taco shells. Serve with desired toppings.

We only used 1/2 tsp cumin as we don't like the cumin to overpower everything else. And didnt add oregano at all. Go to from now on.

My go to taco seasoning! I’m liberal with the quantity of each spice and will omit salt if the recipe already has a lot. I love the flexibility and lack of additives.
