Hot honey is the perfect condiment to to drizzle on top of sweet or savoury toast, pizza, bruschetta or sandwiches. It ticks that moreish sweet and savoury box that so many people love!

Instructions
Step 1
In a small saucepan, gently bring the honey and dried chilli flakes to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for a minute. Remove from the heat and stir in the apple cider vinegar.
Step 2
Let the hot honey cool completely and then decant into a small lidded glass jar. You may strain out the chilli flakes if you wish to, but you’ll lose some of the heat if you do so.
Step 3
Hot honey can be stored at room temperature so long as the jar is sealed. Be sure to give it a good stir before using each time to reincorporate the chilli flakes. If it crystallises, gently reheat in the microwave for a few seconds or place the jar in a bowl of freshly boiled water to bring it back to its liquid state.
