Carnival Fried Oreos

You’ll never buy another fried oreo at a carnival again. You can simply make them in your own home. So yummy!

Instructions

Step 1
Place cooling rack over paper towels. Set aside. (this is for draining the fried Oreos)
Step 2
In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Step 3
After dry ingredients mix in egg whisk yolk in then add vanilla extract, and melted butter. Pour milk in and mix well.
Step 4
Batter might be a little lumpy (it’s okay) as long as it’s not a lot.
Step 5
Heat up oil to 350 degrees and let batter rest until oil is ready.
Step 6
Dip the Oreos into batter, coating both sides (i preferably use a fork underneath to scrape extra batter off)
Step 7
Dip Oreos in oil and fry both sides until golden brown. (i usually fry for about 2 mins tops)
Step 8
Using a slotted spoon lift the Oreos from oil and place them on the rack to drain.
Step 9
Immediately coat with powdered sugar and ENJOY!
