Instructions

Step 1
Cut the watermelon in half and scoop out the top later of flesh with a melon baller.

Scrape out the remaining flesh of the watermelon half and blend with sugar and lime juice. You may need to adjust for taste depending on the size of your watermelon. The sugar here is mostly for texture to make a smooth shaved ice and the lime juice balances the extra sweetness.

Step 3
Strain the blended watermelon juice into a container and freeze until solid. Repeat with the other watermelon half.
Step 4
Use a fork to make shaved ice from the frozen watermelon juice. Plate up in your watermelon bowl with the watermelon spheres and garnish with whatever you like.
