Note: to more easily peel peaches, boil for one minute and then place whole peach in ice water. Run a knife all the way around the peach and rub away the peel. Then, cut in half, separate halves, and cut slices.

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 375F. Peel the peaches then halve them, remove pit, slice into roughly 1/4 inch pieces, and transfer to a large bowl

2. Combine peach slice with cornstarch, sugar, and lemon juice in bowl

3. In separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.

4. Cut butter into dry ingredients with a fork. There should be about pea sized chunks of butter throughout.

5. Add milk and mix until just combined.
Step 6
6. Lightly butter a large baking dish and spread about 2 tablespoons of the batter on the bottom. Evenly spread peaches on top. Scoop the rest of the batter on the filling.

7. Bake in the oven for about 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
