Instructions

Step 1
For the brine, combine vinegars, salt and sugar into a large bowl. Stir.
Step 2
Add bowl of brine to the microwave and microwave until dissolved. 2 mins. Stir. 2 mins. Stir.
Step 3
Slice the Cucumbers in the way that you would like, small whole, spears, slices, long slices. Discard any pieces that are mostly skin
Step 4
Add a large head of Dill and some of your garlic to the bottom of your jar. Begin by placing your tallest slices upright against the wall of your jar. Stacking them and making another layer as necessary.
Step 5
Every few rows add in quartered onion, more Dill and more garlic. Keep stacking Cucumbers and alternating.
Step 6
When the jar is tightly packed, use a butter knife to release air bubbles
Step 7
Add brine and then fill the rest of the way with cold water
Step 8
Use a butter knife to release air bubbles again
Step 9
Tightly seal jar and leave on counter for 3 days. Shake/rotate pickles twice a day for those 3 days to distribute ingredients.
Step 10
Place in fridge in morning of day 4. Wait 1-2 more weeks before enjoying for best results.
