Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Step 2
Combine crumbs with sugar and melted butter. Press into pie pan. And bake 10 minutes.
Step 3
Beat condensed milk with eggs.
Step 4
Add lemon juice, mix in.
Step 5
Pour into pie crust.
Step 6
Beat egg whites with 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar.
Step 7
Spoon over filling. Seal edges around pie crust and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Tent meringue if it is getting too brown.
Step 8
Cool about 30 minutes and then chill for several hours or overnight.
