Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl cream together the soft butter and powdered sugar until you get a creamy mixture

Add the vanilla and mix well to infuse that delightful aroma

Incorporate the egg and mix thoroughly until everything is well combined and the mixture becomes smooth.

Gradually add the flour,working it into a small dough. Add more flour as needed to achieve the right consistency for piping.

Fill the dough into a piping bag fitted with you preferred nozzle
Step 6
Let it rest in the fridge for about 20 minutes to make it easier to handle
Step 7
Preheat the oven to 355 degrees with the fan on to ensure perfectly baked cookies
Step 8
Pipe the dough onto a lined baking sheet
Step 9
Make an indent about the size of 1 tsp and fill with your favorite jam.
Step 10
Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown
